Dual monitor setup in Gutsy

Finally I found out how to setup dual monitor in Gusty.

I have a setup with ATI radeon X800 with two monitors running 1280x1024.

The auto setup made my computer hang but by manually edit an old
xorg.conf I managed to get it run stable using ati driver but only in
clone mode. The old xinerama or MergedGB didnt work or was ignored. Then
I noticed a note in Xorg.0.log about xrandr 1.2 was disabled.

A little goggle search lead me to this blog

After addding Vitual 2560 1024 to xorg.conf Display section then
following command worked for me:
xrandr --output DVI-0 --left-of VGA-0

Drawback is the visual effects does not work anymore.
