Hi ,

I have installed ubuntu 7.10 but faced with this very low resolution.
I tried a lot with trying to reconfigure by xorg-xserver but the max I
could 800x600 while the monitor supports upto 1280x1024.

Here is some info about my machine :

$ uname -a
Linux zorro 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Sun Oct 14 23:05:12 GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux

ajay at zorro:~$ lspci
00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation 82810 GMCH (Graphics Memory Controller Hub) (rev 03)
00:01.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82810 (CGC) Chipset Graphics Controller (rev 03)
00:1e.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 82801AA PCI Bridge (rev 02)
00:1f.0 ISA bridge: Intel Corporation 82801AA ISA Bridge (LPC) (rev 02)

xorg.conf
-------------

Section "Monitor"
        Identifier "Failsafe Monitor"
        Option "DPMS"
EndSection

Section "Screen"
        Identifier "Default Screen"
        Device "Failsafe Device"
        Monitor "Failsafe Monitor"
        DefaultDepth 16
        SubSection "Display"
                Depth 16
                Modes "800x600"
        EndSubSection
EndSection

Can anyone give me his xorg.conf settings to try or any pointers.....

TIA.
ajay
