Thanks Janne.  Did that with same results as you for
both root and user.  I know for sure I have user mail
in mutt and in my web mail account.  Don't know about
root mail now, but when I did receive root mail in
Debian there was so much daily mail that I could
barely keep up with it.  What does it all mean?
