Help with user switcher

Hello,

I have recently installed Gutsy on my desktop which is equipped with an
NVidia graphic card.
I have also installed Compiz Fusion.

The second time I switch from one user to another using the user switcher
applet I get a black screen only. Unlike in Feisty when entering a user name
and password (blindly) got me back to the desktop, entering the password for
the switched to user only makes things worse as I lose the keyboard too.

I noticed that everything works fine if both the users are using Metacity
rather than CF.

I was then wondering if there was a simple way to run something like
metacity --replace
before switching user and
compiz --replace as soon as logging in back.

I think this would solve my problem, but I do not have a clue in which file
I have to insert the commands.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as the destkop is shared with other
members of my family so switching user is quite a common event.
