Scheduling Ubuntu to "Wake Up"

I wish there was an alarm on the clock applet, but there isn't.  I've been
doing something like this for a while.  I don't think you can tell Ubuntu
to wake up, but you can usually tell your laptop to computer to wake up in
the BIOS.  There is a setting for automatically turning your machine on
every morning at a given time.  

You can use the "at" command to run the music player at whatever time you
want.
