Server 1.0.3 build-44356, installed from commercial repos, 
2.6.22-14-generic.

I googled for any-any's filename and ran only across references in what 
looked like russian and some other languages that I unfortunately cannot 
speak, and had not run across those patches before. You said they're 
very trusted...do you know who is making them?  VMWare?  Has anyone else 
on the list tested them and used them after upgrading to GG?
