Installed rt kernel on gutsy.  I have a two-chip AMD system, on 
which each chip is dual-core (four cores total).  The rt kernel 
would only run the first CPU chip (two cores total).  The second CPU 
chip (also two cores) was left permanently idle (as shown by top).

Before, I had been running this system on the low-latency kernel of 
feisty, and had no problem dispatching to four cores.  Since the rt 
kernel of gutsy did not do what I wanted, I've instead installed the 
generic kernel on gutsy (so I can run four cores simultaneously).
