I want to install Ubuntu Dapper 6.06 server version on

I want to install Ubuntu Dapper 6.06 server version on a COMPAQ Presario 
5053
300 MHZ CPU 128 RAM with 4.5G hd

I have tried the computer's BIOS to seen if I can change to boot from 
the cdrom in which is F10 for setup there is not a setting that can see.

I have googled to see if I can a find any info on it did not find 
anything, just about laptops, I have used Gujin-1.6 to try to boot from 
so that I can boot from the cdrom it just freezes up when booting from 
the floppy disk
Gujin-1.6 did great on the other computers I have tried, but the COMPAQ 
Presario 5053 just freezes up when booting from the disk

What else can try to install Dapper 6.06 server edition
