Hi, I want to install the packet MC like unix or linux but in kubuntu

'sudo apt-get install mc' will get you Midnight Commander installed from the
official repositories. Or you could find it using the install software menu
option in KDE.

GRUB means "Grand Unified Bootloader". It's at least theoretically capable of
starting any OS, and so should be able to load a freebsd kernel. At the very
least it can chainload to a BSD partition which may have LILO already
installed, so Kubuntu does not need to have LILO installed.
