Six months ago there was correspondence about the then new version of
Pan not being compatible with the old version. At that time I deleted
the new version and re-installed the old version. I note that the
situation has not changed with regards to Ubuntu 7.10 and that there is
still no simple way of moving from 6.10 to 7.10. It is as well I kept
the notes from last year. Any comments welcome.
