whiptail: --separate-output is ignored

--separate-output is ignored when used with --checklist.  For example both of the following 
produce the same results.
whiptail --checklist "a checklist" 25 40 20 "One" 1 on "Two" 2 on "Three" 3 off
whiptail --checklist --separate-output "a checklist" 25 40 20 "One" 1 on "Two" 2 on "Three" 
3 off
