Gutsy rc boot is a dark experience

I'm experiencing this too. I tried to search for a bug report about the
problem, but couldn't find one. I thought that there propably is one and
I just missed it. Your message hints that the developers are aware of
the problem, but could you confirm this just to be sure. Otherwise I'll
file a bug report (after searching for one again).
