Bottom panel dissappears.

Hi!

I upgraded to 7.10 and now I have the following annoyance - the bottom 
panel keeps dissappearing from view at random.
I haven't made any changes to any setting (autohide etc). If I have any 
programs open they leave the panel-space untouched and when I click on 
the background the panel appears. This problem doesn't affect the top 
panel at all.
