Seems like a good enough workaround. However, the suggestion to use
'gksudo' or 'gksu' is the proper, accepted solution. So use 'gksudo'
if you can.

My suggestion of using 'xhost' was really only for a quick 'n dirty
hack and I wouldn't really suggest you use it.
