Live CD resolution 640x480 only?

Does it correctly see the graphics card as well, though?
It's not an elegant solution, but personally, I'd try Knoppix and see
if it managed. I find Knoppix a more useful boot CD than Ubuntu, I
must admit. Klaus Knopper really crams in everything he can think of,
whereas Ubuntu sports its usual, elegant, restricted set. If I'm
installing a system, I want elegant restraint. If I'm in an emergency,
booting off a CD, I want a choice of kitchen sinks, just in case!
