Ubuntu Mail list Etiquette with Gmail

Nothing wrong with defaulting to the beginning.  It's not where you start
editing, it's how it looks when you're finished :-)

Putting the caret at the beginning encourages top-posting, but putting it at
the bottom encourages failure to trim.  Both are evil.
