Sync your disks and unplug the power cord :)

More seriously: The command

sudo shutdown -rF now

in a terminal should force fsck after reboot. See

man 8 shutdown

for details.

BTW: Please don't hijack threads. It is annoying for people who use MTAs 
with threaded display of messages. And you might get no response at all 
if those who know an answer ignore that particular thread.
