Hi,
My system always crashes with a general protection fault when I copy a
lot of files from Windows XP to my Ubuntu over Samba. Small number of
files seems to work but when I copy a large number of files my system
crashes on a general protection fault.
uname -a:
Linux ubuntu 2.6.20-16-generic #2 SMP Sun Sep 23 18:31:23 UTC 2007
x86_64 GNU/Linux
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU
any idea what's causing this?
Martijn
