gutsy screensaver power management disabled?

Hello,

Since upgrading to gutsy, I notice that the 
screensaver goes to black screen after a re-
latively short time. In the past, this was a 
user-modifiable function in the power manage-
ment menus, usually accessed via a button un-
der Screensaver/Preferences.

Now, unfortunately, when I System/Preferences\
/Screensaver and click on the Power Management 
button there, nothing happens. Is there a work-
-around? I don't want my screensaver to go to 
black screen, since I use it to cycle through 
my photo album.

Any info at all greatly appreciated!
