setting up ddclient

I would try the following:

	1) Stop the ddclient using 'sudo /etc/init.d/ddclient stop'
	2) Delete /var/run/ddclient.pid file and the /var/cache/ddclient directory
	3) Start up the ddclient with 'sudo /etc/init.d/ddclient start'
	4) Monitor the syslog file.

If it is still not working, then I suggest you post your ddclient.conf
file (mask out the dyndns credentials and anything else you want to keep
private).
