gnome timer-applet?

Hello,

I was interested in trying out the timer-applet the 
Debian Package a Day site mentioned, and installed it 
with Synaptic with no obvious problems. But I don't
see it listed in the Applications menu anywhere, and
when I try to search for it using the Add/Remove 
Programs menu, I get "No matching application found!" 
message.

What gives? Any ideas appreciated. Thanks in advance.
