Dovecot versus Postfix

The one in /etc is the one I'm speaking of. the one in /share may be a
duplicate (in case you mess up the original, but you will make a copy
anyway, won't you?)

please, just do it. It tells you what it's doing, and if you don't
like what it has done, you can ALWAYS purge and reinstall postfix and
get the brand-spankin' clean configuration again.

dpkg-reconfigure postfix
