Watching video in Ubuntu

The problem with the first three is the mms;// protocol...  Firefox 
doesn't know what to do with it, and I couldn't play the files.

The last one is somewhat different.  Inside the .asx file is a reference to;

which does play in Firefox with the MPlayer plugin.

The only thing I can suggest is to download any file with an http;// 
protocol and open in in a text editor.  If the reference inside is also 
http;//, try playing that in Firefox.
