mysterious system lockups in gutsy

I don't know if this is related but sometimes in Gutsy after Firefox as
been running for 4+ hours everything is sluggish and user memory usage
is way up and it take some work to close it down as well as anything
else. So I'd be interested in hearing any suggestion too.
