Very hi-res console

I am using Kubuntu, but when I told it about my monitor under the Settings
and getting to Monitors and Displays, it offered me 168-x1050.   There is
even a GenericLCD1680x1050 or similar setting you can use, if it doesn't
have your specific brand.
