Cannot access new NAS

Probably not your problem, that site doesn't answer
to pings from my ISP account, either. The forward
slash might just be an artifact of the way your
tool expresses IP addresses; spelled with the
forward slash, that isn't "an IP address" is is "a
site name expressed as an IP address".
