problem printing

I have 2 computers connected to a printer, one directly and the other, a
windows machine, by wireless. Until recently I had no problems now, I
cannot print from the windows machine. I recently changed to Ubuntu 7.10
and I think there was an upgrade to Cups this morning.

When I had a similar problem long, long ago I solved the issue by making
a change to ports.conf. I tried to do the same thing today and could not
find ports.conf. Could some kind person help me to put things right.
