If you download the deb from the gizmo site, as root:
# dpkg -i --force-architecture gizmo-project_126.96.36.199_libstdc++6_i386.deb
# sudo /sbin/ldconfig
Now gizmo should work (it does here) on x64_86 (assuming you have the other ia32-libs installed).
