How odd. I wasn't looking at the time, and didn't notice the repeats!
I have no idea why, to be honest... looking...
AH - I just had a look in /var/cache/apt/apt-file/ - I have 3 mirrors in
there with a .gz file of each! ( archive.... au.archive... and
mirror.pacific.net )
Evidently apt-file is obligingly showing results from each of them.
Check: Just removed one, and now I get 2 hits each, so that was the reason.
