USB printer does not work in VMware Workstation 6.0.0 on Ubuntu 7.10

I use VMware Workstation 6.0.0 installed on Ubuntu 7.10 (2.6.22-14)
and have a problem with USB printer (Canaon MF3110).
The USB device is not recognised by guest system (WindowsXP).

Earlier I have used VMware Workstation 6.0.0-beta on Ubuntu 7.04 and
it worked perfectly.
