yeah sorry, I should remember by now to look further ahead as this is a very
busy list, so someone is bound to have answered a question some minutes
after the original post hits the mailboxen of subscribers. :)

But yeah, no client can escape from the protocol jungle without proper
accounts for each. Except for that coming gtalk, if that rumour holds true.
