You need emerald and an emerald theme for the glass effects you
require. Install emerald by issuing in the terminal:-

sudo apt-get install emerald

I not totally sure but I believe you can get a handful of themes by:-

sudo apt-get install emerald-themes (HOWEVER I Haven't tried that), as
I am at work at current and have no Ubuntu Machine :- ( to check.

You can also install themes from GNOME LOOK:-
