Feisty doesn't install on old Sony Vaio PCG-Z505HE

I've had similar problems with the live CD.  If you're using the live CD I
would suggest trying the alternate CD.
http://www.ubuntulinux.org/getubuntu/download select alternate below the
Start Download icon.
