The developer of FSlint, Pádraig Brady, mailed me directly.  After a
couple of quick small tests Pádraig had the problem sussed out, and
emailed me a .deb with his latest developer version.  The problem was
gone.

FSlint is a brilliant tool.  Big thanks to Pádraig Brady for creating
it, and for fixing bugs so promptly!
