the good perl modules is valiant, but there's always something you
need that will be missing.
That's one thing I wish would be adopted from FreeBSD. There, when
you install from CPAN, it creates a handy package on the fly out of
the modules you install. Much easier when you're ready to remove or
upgrade a perl module, no unexpected files loitering about.
