Installing .deb packages with apt-get

In any case, I think he was looking at it from a Gnomish viewpoint.  afaik,
there's nothing in KDE (Kubuntu) that will automatically execute for
a .deb.  Kpackage can, but they stopped including it in Kubuntu.
