Hi Norman

Most providers do actually. But if you're like me and peridiocally switch 
isp's to get the better deal, then a server independant of the isp would mean 
not having to keep changing the server details. Also, the isp's oft leave out 
the ones I am interested in so look to going outside them again ;)
