Suspend issues under Feisty

Hi all,

Suspend finally worked on my laptop (a hp compaq nx7010) after
installing Feisty. However sometimes it also crashes (does not wake up
after suspend), this seems to be random and I don't know why this is..

Is there a way to figure out, why my laptop could not wake up after
suspend? Also is it possible to get suspend working stable, for
example with a newer kernel?
