Unable to install 6.06 and 7.04 on HP Compaq nx6120 laptop

Hi

Probably the CD that are you using is damage.

I've installed Ubuntu Feisty with dual boot on a nx6320 without
problems. If you try to install de previus version, the wireless card
will no be detected.

Check the bios configuration. I not disabled the SATA mode of the HD
