Believe me, it is not just waiting.  The Feisty installers just vanish; the
Dapper installer closes with an error notice; the alternate reports an error
as well.  I think it is hardware compatibility.  Does anyone know what these
lines mean:

Is there anything I can do to prevent this error, and get Xubuntu installed?
