Cube effect

I thought of that, but there are two things that stopped me:
1) Ubuntu has been integrating functionality of compiz and I didn't want 
to do something that may "break" Ubuntu or it's upgrades down the line.
2) Aren't Beryl and Compiz combining code bases now? I hoped the 
upgrades of Ubuntu would integrate the functions as they did so.

Otherwise, I saw Beryl and Emerald in the synaptic repositories.  I 
didn't know what the effect of using them on Feisty would be (as I 
stated above).

Advice? Experiences?  Anyone?
