this is just my opinion
NECs arent really my favorite, i have one in my machine and it just
sucks. My favorites have alway been Acer. they have lasted the longest
with me. I had an acer from 1996 and it died in 2006. it was a 2 speed
burner and a 4 speed reader. Wasnt exactly all that great speed wise,
but it showed that acer lasts very very long
