Cube effect

I don't really like this "reboot behaviour", but this actually worked for me 
with the cube effect: disable the effects settings, and then re-enable them, 
paying attention in every step to keep desktops number in 4 (or maybe just 
>1). Whatever I do with the effects settings, it always kills my extra 
desktop effects (as the notice in the effects settings said it might do). 
It's still beta, but besides this configuration glitch it's working very well 
for me for that past week, with no further gliches. And it's very nice ;)

Please try it and report back.
