Also, keep in mind that even after you enable VT on your BIOS, you will need
to shutdown (not just reboot) your computer, before the setting is actually
applied. And since this is a laptop that you are talking about, you might
have to remove the battery from it (after shutting it down).

I learned this the hard way a few days ago...
