Novell Authentication Question

Could someone point me in the right direction here. I have EDUBUNTU feisty
installed and would like to authenticate to my novell e-directory. I used
the package manager to install ncpfs and its dependencies but what next? I
am not sure what pam files I need to modify and what to modify them to. I
also don't know if I should try out the novel linux client. My overall goal
is to have a edubuntu ltsp server running in a lab and the clients
authenticate to our network and have their drive mappings. Just looking for
a nice how to or wiki for ubuntu. Thanks alot.
