Interesting; I connected just fine using the OP's link from a California
IP when using Windows WMP.

BTW: has anyone managed to actually connect and use any of the default
"Media" radio stations in gxine?  Example:

Media
 Alternatives
  BBC 1Xtra

I can actually copy the url of that station (Title: BBC 1Xtra
MRL: http://www.bbc.co.uk/1xtra/realmedia/1xtralive.rpm)and play it just
fine in RealPlayer, but cannot play it from gxine.
