I have noticed you are using sg* and sr* devices for your CD burner
device. After my upgrade to Feisty, my devices are all hdx devices.
Perhaps I'm not having this problem because I am somehow still using the
older ATA drivers rather than the new libata system? I'm not sure how to
test this, since I just did the aptitude dist-upgrade thing to get from
Edgy to Feisty rather than doing a clean install, so I may have just
carried over settings from Edgy. So I couldn't personally tell you how
to switch your system to use the older, probably somewhat more stable
driver, but it may help if it's possible without making your system
unbootable. Definitely file a bug, and maybe someone can let you know on
the list how to use the other driver as a temporary workaround. I guess
my last question would be are you using the latest kernel that was just
pushed through I believe yesterday? There may be a patch there that
solves your problem, although since I'm not using the libata driver I
can't confirm this.

HTH,
Lorenzo
