If your Windows and UBUNTU aren't working,  what are you using to send 
and receive the information on this ubuntu list?. 

If it's another computer, then it looks like you're a candidate for 
starting from ground zero.......... wipe out your hard drive, create a 
new NTFS partition for Windows,  leave enough space for a possible 
installation of UBUNTU,  reinstall Windows, then try the UBUNTU CD 
again.  Sorry to be so abrupt but it looks like trying to untangle the 
mess you're in is more work than starting from the beginning.  It 
happens, sometimes.
