Installing from Kubuntu Disk

Click Add/Remove packages. Click advanced.
Click Edit and choose Add cdrom.
To me its as easy as that - now this very much wiser idiot will RTFM.
BTW it also worked with the edubuntu cd, so presumably it works with other
cds as well.
I doubt whether I would have found this without your reply - so thanks to
you for your help.
