Dapper & Feisty work quite well on a 300MHZ/256MB (that's what I'm using
to test Feisty). Haven't tried with anything less than 256MB though.
Only problem that I had with Feisty is that I had to uninstall
network-manager (hence ubuntu-desktop) so that I didn't have to
/etc/init.d/networking restart each time to get my NIC to work. It goes
without saying that the modem card doesn't work in either...
